Association football, also known as just football or soccer, is basically a group of organized matches played between two sides of eleven players each. It is so far the most popular game worldwide, with more than 250 million players in more than 200 countries and colonies. Soccer started many years ago in Europe but it was in America where the game got its name. It was played between teams called Association Footballers in English Association Football, also referred to as FA. The first official international tournament was held in Germany in 1920, with the winner becoming the World Cup winner.

So far soccer has evolved from being: just an exhibition game to one that is professionally organized. It has become a business and big companies are investing billions of dollars every year in organizing tournaments and leagues to increase interest and qualification levels in the sport. As of this writing, there are 24 teams in the Ligue One (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Inter Milan, Celtic, Leverage, Sporting Lisbon, Arsenal, Benfica Lisbon, Benfords Ajax, Besiktas or Lazio) with another 24 in the Ligue Two (itzerland, Austria, Scotland, Wales, England, Scotland, bia, Turkey or Besiktas). The three major leagues in Europe are the English Premier League, Spanish LaLiga, Italian league and the Portuguese league. In the Asian region there are South Korea, Malaysia, Japan or China who have organized their own professional soccer competitions.

Soccer has also developed: so that it now features another word in addition to its familiar name – Goal. A soccer goal is the point at which the ball crosses the goal line or the distance the ball is registered to before it is substituted by another ball. There are different scores for different aspects of the game, including goals and fouls, so there is many different official Scorers, who are often chosen by teams and sport academies to adjudicate cases of goal difference. Soccer has also become a very popular spectator sport; it regularly features in major league games, especially in the United States. There are many international soccer tournaments hosted every year, and the World Cup is an all-time favorite.

A well-developed soccer system provides a number of advantages for the game: It gives the players a training opportunity that improves skill and fitness. The soccer system is made up of several sections including the field, which is the rectangular area on which the players perform; the benches, which provide a place for players to sit down and rest; the equipment, which include the boots, shirts, shorts and socks; and the goals, which are the posts on which the ball is put. Each team member is given specific instructions to wear the proper equipment and play the game according to the rules.

Corner kicks are awarded to the defending team: when the other team is unable to control a ball that is thrown from the side of the field into their opponents’ side of the field. The attacking team makes a tackle with the ball and the defender tries to stop the opponent from gaining possession of the ball. Corner kicks are considered an unselfish act by both sides. In addition, a corner kick is also considered to be an appropriate way to put an end to the match. In most soccer competitions, a corner kick is not allowed.

Although soccer is considered to be a contact sport: it does not require the accumulation of excessive physical contact. There is only a limited amount of physical contact, such as exchanging shin pads or brushing of hands, and the players are allowed to use their feet for any action that is part of the game. Because the game is not regarded as a contact sport, there is no rule preventing the defenders from taking protective measures, such as holding the opponents’ foot, to prevent them from being able to kick the ball.
